Specialist Consultation

Breast Imaging Consultation

Expert evaluation of breast health – combining advanced imaging (mammography, ultrasound, elastography) with clinical examination and biopsy guidance – for accurate diagnosis and personalised care.

Overview

Expert care for your breast health.

A breast imaging consultation provides a comprehensive, multidisciplinary approach to evaluating breast health. Led by experienced radiologists specialising in breast imaging, this consultation combines advanced imaging techniques – including digital mammography, high‑resolution ultrasound, elastography, and, when needed, MRI – with clinical breast examination and biopsy guidance. Whether you are seeking routine screening, have a breast concern, or require follow‑up after an abnormal finding, our team is here to provide accurate diagnosis, clear explanations, and personalised care.

Breast imaging is the cornerstone of early detection and management of breast conditions – from benign cysts and fibroadenomas to breast cancer. Our specialists use state‑of‑the‑art technology and evidence‑based protocols to characterise lesions, assign BI‑RADS categories, and guide biopsy decisions. We work closely with gynaecologists, breast surgeons, and oncologists to ensure seamless, coordinated care.

At Amytri Diagnostics, we understand the anxiety that breast concerns can cause. Our consultation is designed to be informative and supportive – we take the time to listen, explain your images, and involve you in decisions about your care. Our goal is to provide clarity, reassurance, and a clear path forward, whether that means routine monitoring, further imaging, or intervention.

Our breast imaging consultation services include

  • Digital Mammography – screening and diagnostic mammography for early detection
  • Breast Ultrasound – characterisation of lumps, cysts, and masses (radiation‑free)
  • Breast Elastography – assessing tissue stiffness to differentiate benign from malignant lesions
  • 3D Mammography (Tomosynthesis) – enhanced imaging for dense breasts
  • Clinical Breast Examination – by a trained breast specialist
  • BI‑RADS Categorisation – standardised reporting for clear communication
  • Ultrasound‑guided Biopsy (FNA or core) – for suspicious lesions
  • Evaluation of breast pain, nipple discharge, and skin changes
  • High‑risk screening – for women with family history or genetic risk
  • Post‑surgical surveillance – monitoring after lumpectomy or mastectomy
Why it matters

Essential for breast health & early detection.

Breast cancer is the most common cancer in women – but when caught early, survival rates exceed 95%. Breast imaging consultation provides the expert evaluation needed to detect, characterise, and manage breast conditions with confidence.

Detection

Detect cancer early

Digital mammography and ultrasound can identify microcalcifications and masses years before they become palpable – enabling early, life‑saving treatment.

Characterisation

Accurate lesion characterisation

Elastography and Doppler help differentiate benign from malignant lesions, reducing unnecessary biopsies and guiding targeted intervention.

Empowerment

Empower informed decisions

Our specialists explain your imaging findings, BI‑RADS score, and recommendations – so you can make informed choices about your care with confidence.

What we offer

Comprehensive breast imaging consultation services.

We provide a full range of breast imaging and interventional services – all under one roof, with expert interpretation and integrated care.

Digital Mammography

High‑resolution screening and diagnostic mammography with low‑dose digital technology – essential for detecting calcifications and masses.

Breast Ultrasound

Radiation‑free, real‑time imaging to characterise lumps, cysts, and solid masses – especially valuable in dense breast tissue and for guiding biopsy.

Breast Elastography

Measures tissue stiffness – a powerful adjunct to ultrasound that improves the accuracy of differentiating benign from malignant lesions.

3D Mammography (Tomosynthesis)

Advanced digital mammography that creates 3D images – reducing false positives and improving detection, especially in dense breasts.

Ultrasound‑guided Biopsy

Minimally invasive sampling of suspicious lesions (FNA or core biopsy) with precise ultrasound guidance – safe, quick, and accurate.

BI‑RADS Reporting & Risk Assessment

Standardised categorisation of findings (BI‑RADS 0–6) with clear recommendations – from routine screening to biopsy and surgical referral.

How it works

Your breast imaging consultation journey, step by step.

01
Book

Book your consultation

Call us, WhatsApp, or visit our centre to schedule your appointment. We will ask about your symptoms, risk factors, and any prior imaging – and provide preparation instructions.

02
Examine

Clinical & imaging evaluation

You will have a clinical breast examination followed by the appropriate imaging (mammography, ultrasound, elastography). Our specialist will discuss the findings in real‑time and answer your questions.

03
Biopsy (if needed)

Targeted biopsy or additional imaging

If a suspicious lesion is identified, we may perform an ultrasound‑guided biopsy on the same day. Alternatively, additional views or MRI may be recommended.

04
Report

Report and management plan

A comprehensive BI‑RADS‑based report is prepared and shared with you and your referring doctor. We explain the findings, discuss management options, and coordinate next steps – whether it's routine follow‑up, further imaging, or surgical referral.

Is it for you?

A breast imaging consultation is recommended if any of these apply.

It is essential for anyone with breast concerns, as well as for routine screening and high‑risk surveillance.

Routine breast cancer screening

Women aged 40 and above – annual or biennial mammography is recommended. Earlier screening is advised for those with risk factors.

Breast lumps, pain, or nipple discharge

Any new or persistent breast symptom – our specialists will evaluate and guide appropriate management.

Abnormal mammogram or ultrasound

If a previous imaging study showed a suspicious finding – our consultation provides expert review, additional imaging, and biopsy if needed.

Family history or genetic risk (BRCA, etc.)

High‑risk women benefit from personalised screening and risk‑reduction strategies – our experts can create a tailored surveillance plan.

Follow‑up after breast surgery

Monitoring the surgical site and contralateral breast after lumpectomy, mastectomy, or reconstruction – essential for recurrence detection.

Anxiety or uncertainty about breast health

If you are worried about breast cancer, a consultation can provide reassurance – or early detection if needed, empowering you with knowledge and a clear plan.
