If indicated, we assess the subareolar region and nipple for masses or ductal abnormalities – helpful for nipple discharge evaluation.
If a suspicious lesion is identified, we can mark the optimal site for ultrasound‑guided biopsy (FNA or core needle) – increasing diagnostic yield.
No special preparation is required. You can eat, drink, and take medications as usual. Wear a two‑piece outfit – you will be asked to undress from the waist up and wear a gown.
